It does my heart good to know that my book has made an impact on your life Joyce! That means more to me than you know! I think the simple things in life bring us the least amount of stress and the most joy!
Bonnie,I have just finished your book and having read a lot of books on frontier life in Alaska, there is no doubt that yours is the most enthralling of all.The way you talk with God, the prayers you constantly offer up has brought me closer to God and is going to change my life spiritualy.I am looking but I know I will not find another book as fulfilling as yours. Both Sam and you must be so proud of your lifes achievement.Thankyou for giving me so much pleasure. Graham, thank you so much for your kind words! I was thrilled to see your comment and to know that my book inspired you to change your life spiritually! Our life on the island changed my life spiritually as well. It was there that I learned – really learned – how to pray. I always believed that it was God that gave me the “drive and determination” to write this book, because it took me ten years and it wasn’t easy finding the time – hundreds of 4am meetings with my computer – often wanted to give up, but was driven, compelled to keep going. When I get comments like yours, I realize now, why! I am grateful that you took the time to comment! Have a great day and do stay in touch!
